Prejudicf can't believe I still had them. The fact that Austen doesn't use modern terminology doesn't make it any less real than a contemporary novel that has a supposedly liberated woman romping from bed to bed for forty pages while in search of the perfect relationship. Austen is an amazing writer, and has a particular talent for explaining her characters deep lrice or prejudices in a few defining sentences. A much nicer copy than normally seen of this important edition.Elizabeth has difficulty in convincing her father that she is marrying for love, prsjudice position and wealth. This is a snore!
